Welcome to Lent
From this foundational prayer, we look at three key ideas that form a Triptych present in the Lord’s Prayer which is provision, pardon, and protection. We hope that you feel led to provide a gift of daily bread this Lent to people who are in need. Below you’ll find a web donation form where you can contribute, but read on to learn more about the World Wesleyan Hunger Fund.
This lenten offering is an opportunity for you to provision others. Our World Wesleyan Hunger Fund helps to grow our movement to end hunger by what John Wesley called the “means of grace.” Funds received become matching grants in meal packaging which engages individuals to act and to build new spiritual disciplines. Other grants are made to organizations working to affect change in communities through sustainable efforts to fight the systemic causes of hunger. In 2021, we disbursed over $14,000 in grants.
